  • Final stain and finish applications complete on neck and headstock.
  • Stain used:
  • Finish: Tru-Oil
  • Headstock came unfinished with a straight cut end.
  • Used a dreamed tool to carve a custom headstock design.
  • Added in tuning hardware.

Finally... it's in one piece!

  • Attach neck to body!
  • Customize backplate with initials.

  • Add in tune-o-matic bridge, 3-way selector switch, and pots
  • Begin working with the wiring.

Whoops!

  • There was a mishap when trying to put on a knob.
  • This knob was extremely tight and we could not get it on.
  • The thought to use a small, rubber hammer was initially tried and unfortunately cracked the wood.
  • It was able to be fixed, restained, and refinished with minimal damage done.
